Governor Rendell Says It's Time to Increase Pennsylvania's Minimum Wage Level
Increase From $5.15 an Hour to $6.25 in January 2006 and $7.15 in 2007
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- In an ongoing effort to keep
Pennsylvanians competitive in the global marketplace, Governor Edward
G. Rendell today said he is proposing increasing the state's minimum wage to $6.25/hr in January 2006 and $7.15/hr in January 2007.
The Governor called for the change during a rally at the United
Steelworkers Building in Pittsburgh.
